The Trader's Brick House on the site was built in 1805 to house the trader family that worked with the local Cherokee hunters and trappers

The trail marker sign across Oconee Station Road. The Station Cove Falls trail can be started here instead of at the historic site, but it will shave 1 mile off your round trip.

The trail diverges near the waterfall, with one path going to the falls and the other going to Oconee Station State Park

The stream runs alongside the trail in portions but stays close as you near the waterfall

Station Cove Falls is a spectacular waterfall, giving you a great payoff for the fairly short hike

Picket Post Produce is about 2.5 miles outside of Oconee Station State Historic Site and has some great local vegetables, pickled items, dairy, and much more.
